Joseph Webb, CICJoe joined Nansemond in 1976 after graduating from the University of Richmond and working on Virginia’s Eastern Shore for two years as a school teacher. Joe specializes in commercial insureds in Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina. He specializes in Fleets, Warehousing, and Contractors. He is married to Nancy, a school principal, and enjoys biking, hunting, his three sons and daughters in law. Joe is a member of Main Street Methodist Church in Suffolk where he is a Sunday School teacher. Joe is President of Nansemond. |

Jay Dorschel, MBA, CICJay joined Nansemond in 1980 after 2 years with Ferguson Enterprises. Jay was born in Chattanooga, Tn. and educated at Hampden-Sydney College and The College of William & Mary. He works with commercial businesses in various industries from Key West, Fla. through northern Virginia. He loves his work of helping protect the assets of mid-sized to larger businesses and lives in Suffolk, Virginia. Married to MaryAlice since 1977 – they have four children; He is active in helping folks and also enjoys hunting, woodworking, running and most any outdoor activity. Jay is a member of Westminster Reformed Presbyterian Church in Suffolk where he is active in leadership. He is also active in the Southeastern Correctional Ministry. Jay is Executive Vice-President of Nansemond. |

Joby Webb, CICJoby joined Nansemond in 2003 after two years experience in Ferguson Enterprises’ sales and management training program in Richmond, Va. Joby was raised in Suffolk and graduated from Virginia Tech in 2000. He works with various commercial operations throughout Virginia and northeastern North Carolina — developing specific expertise in the transportation industry. Joby attended the Hartford Insurance School and State Auto’s Pacesetter program. He is married to Mindy, a director of a local pre-school, and they have one son. Joby enjoys spending time with has family, duck hunting and following Virginia Tech football. Joby is a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Suffolk where he serves on the Vestry. |

Jarratt WebbJarratt joined Nansemond in November of 2009. He is a 2003 graduate of Randolph Macon College. Prior to joining Nansemond, Jarratt worked for the 84 Lumber Company as a leading outside salesman in the Richmond and Tidewater regions of Va. Jarratt attended the Travelers School for Insurance and is involved in State Auto’s Pacestter Program. Jarratt is married to Emily, who works for Operation Smile as the Senior Development Officer in the Asia/Pacific Region. They live in Norfolk. Jarratt enjoys boating, fishing, and hunting. He is an active member of First Presbyterian Church in Norfolk, VA. |
